This voluminous snowflake is quite large (about 10 inches / 25 cm) so it can be used as an Christmas outdoor decor. You can make a Christmas garland with multiple snowflakes. This soft toy does not contain small parts (beads, buttons), so it can be used as baby’s first christmas ornament.

You can crochet a Christmas pillow using thicker yarn and crochet hook.

To crochet this snowflake, you need:

*White yarn. I used wool blend yarn 400 m/ 100 g;

*Crochet hook 2 mm;

*Hollow fiber stuffing;

*Sewing needle;

*Scissors.

Abbreviated terms used:

 MR – magic ring

 ch – chain stitch

 sc – single crochet

 inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

 dec – decrease sc (2 sc together)
