Item description from the seller

You can make this upcycled denim bag with the image of houses from recycled clothing. I sewed it from old jeans and also used an old dress as a lining. It is a reusable grocery bag, very durable and practical. This tote bag with outside pocket is very comfortable and roomy, you will love using it in different situations – for shopping, walking with children, as a weekender bag, travel bag or lunch bag. This is a quilted bag with a lining.

 This tutorial does not include quilting tutorials. You need to know how to quilt. This tutorial contains patterns and a description of the work process with photos. It is assumed that you have basic sewing and quilting skills.

Materials and supplies:

*Paper pattern;

*Sewing machine;

*Denim needles;

*Scissors;

*Sewing thread;

*Old jeans or denim fabric, preferably 2-3 colors; you can use any other dense non-elastic fabric;

*Interfacing material (batting, etc);

*Quilt filler (I used a synthetic winterizer);

*Fabric for the back of the quilt (I used cotton);

*Lining fabric (I used an old green dress);

*Bag pocket lock (I used a briefcase lock);

*Pins;

*Zipper;

*Zipper foot;

*Quilting foot;

* Rotary cutter, mat and ruler; these tools are designed to make the cutting of strips and squares a simple and accurate procedure. Although highly recommended, they are not essential items and you can use a tape measure, ruler and scissors instead.
