"Modern civilization has brought with it numerous ecological challenges, many of which have had a profound impact on the seas and other bodies of water. Large cities and corporations are dumping countless tons of plastic, toxic chemicals, and other waste into these aquatic spaces, turning them into veritable dumps.
As a result, the ability of these ecosystems to self-cleanse has been seriously undermined. Previously transparent waters have become murky and polluted, and many of the animals that once freely inhabited them are now struggling to survive.
Clearly, we must find new, more sustainable ways of producing and consuming goods if we are to protect our oceans and ensure a bright future for future generations. By taking action now, we can help restore natural balance to these vital ecosystems and preserve the incredible beauty and diversity of the world's oceans and waterways."
