An army flask from the Warsaw Pact era is designed for storing and carrying water and liquids in field conditions. The container will be useful for tourists, hunters, and fishing enthusiasts.
An army field flask, produced back in the 1980s for the People's Army of the GDR (NVA Sturmgepäck). It is light weight and compact in shape. Such flasks were used until the fall of the Berlin Wall. This country, like the army, has not existed since 1990.
Includes: flask, flask case, mug, belt system for fastening and carrying.
The flask with a volume of 0.7 liters is made of food-grade plastic, the mug with folding handles is made of food-grade aluminum (stainless and chemical-resistant material). The removable cover is made of special dense fabric. The flask has an oval shape, a lid with a rubber seal that prevents liquid from spilling when carried. The lid has a special strap that prevents unwanted loss. The thread made on the neck of the flask and the lid allows you to firmly close the flask and not spill a single drop of the contents.
To prevent an increase/decrease in the temperature of the liquid in the flask, a special cover has been developed. To make the flask easier to use, the Germans provided a mug with handles. During transportation, the mug is secured on top of the flask with a special strap.
Dimensions: total height 230 mm; width 125 mm; depth 55 mm; weight 230 grams. Color - camouflage, classic for the GDR "strichtarn".
The army flask is new, but may have wear on the mug due to its storage in a military warehouse.
