English Paper Piecing is the creation of a quilt block and/or entire quilt using fabric wrapped around individual paper patterns. It’s a very “therapeutic” hobby that enables you to stay busy and be productive at the same time.

English Paper Piecing is fabric that is "wrapped" around paper shapes which are cut to the exact size, which allows precision to be achieved when piecing them together. The technique works well with traditional or modern fabrics, giving quilters a useful technique for hand piecing. A wide variety of shapes may be used when using this technique; however, the hexagon shape is the most common.
