NOTES:

• This shawl is made sideways in one piece, starting from the corner and increasing towards the wide edge on one side creating an asymmetrical triangle.
• The combination of textured stitch in body and cabled panel give this shawl a delicate yet casual look. All the cables in this pattern can be worked without a cable needle, you just need to cross two stitches.
• The knitting pattern includes 1 medium size. But you can easily change the size of the shawl, this will change the amount of yarn needed.

YARN:  You will need 155 -200 gr of Sport (or Fingering) weight yarn with the most natural fiber content (wool, merino wool, alpaca, cotton, linen) or blend of 2 or more natural fibers.

YARDAGE of the sample shawl: 622 yds (568.8 m).

GAUGE of the sample shawl: 19 sts x 28 rows = 4 x 4'' (10 x 10 cm) after blocking.

Needles of the sample shawl: US 4 (3.5 mm) for body and border, US 6 (4.0 mm) for cable panel.
