Welcome! I make papier-mache horns and masks. I make sure that the objects look realistic.
My horns are very light because they are made of papier-mache. Top texture of acrylic coating, acrylic paint and waterproof varnish. It doesn't break. But be careful with the headband - it's made of plastic. The headband sits firmly on the head, but don't pull too hard.
Care: the horns should not be wetted too much (you should not swim, walk in the rain), but you can wipe it with a damp cloth. If you spill water on them, gently wipe them off with a tissue and place them on the battery.
