Handmade wooden scoop from natural birch wood with decorated handle for ground coffee or coffee beans

This measuring spoon is hand-carved from piece of dry birch wood, it is ideal for measuring coffee, tea, sugar or salt, spices, etc.
The ready spoon was baked in the oven to give a darker shade and a pronounced grain.

To make this spoon I used only hand tools: my axe, knives, and bent gouges.
The ergonomic handle is decorated with simple but very attractive pattern and allows you to hold the spoon in your hand naturally, without strain to perform any necessary actions.

The surface of the spoon is perfectly polished, this eliminates the raising of the pile when wet.
To protect against moisture, the spoon is covered several times with linseed oil.
Finished with compound of linseed oil, beeswax, and Carnauba wax.
This birch wood spoon is durable and easy to clean and maintain, it can be used daily.

The length of this handmade wooden spoon is 6.1", holds approximately 3/4 tbsp of ground coffee.
