In The Sommelier’s Mistake, Farzan Alavi, a substitute teacher nursing a recent heartbreak, finds solace in a Kansas City wine bar. Unexpectedly, he’s whisked away to a VIP table where the charismatic sommelier, David Curtis, treats him to an exquisite evening and flirts with him. The chemistry is undeniable, and their night together is electric.

The next morning, Farzan learns that David believed he was a renowned food critic, not just a heartbroken teacher. Although the mix-up is amusing, David is focused on his goal of becoming a master sommelier and isn’t interested in a relationship.
