Jikitotsu-koromo - wide robe of japanese buddhists
Quantity
For meditation and holding services in Buddhism, a special type of vestment is used - jikitotsu-koromo. This is a very wide cassock with large sleeves and folds, which can be easily wrapped almost entirely.
We created this cassock to create the image of a monk and a priest, but real practitioners of several major sects of Buddhism are happy to order cassocks from us as their vestments.
The default material is black cotton with a weight of 240g (8.5oz), but you can pick specific color if contact us.
If you have some specific wishes about sizing of your costume just contact us or leave a comment to the order with your actual measurement and we'll make in a proper size.
Please note - we make every single pair in a custom way so we'll need some time (usually from a week or two) to sew your personal monk robe.
