I drew this flower in pastel on Canson pastel paper.
And although the size of the image is small, the flower is very expressive. I drew this delicate flower when I was in a romantic mood. The pale lilac hue is reminiscent of the morning mist over the lake. And it also echoes in color with my favorite stone - amethyst. The blue-green background reinforces this impression. If you are satisfied with the size of the picture, then you need to arrange it in a narrow passe-partout with a frame. Pastel must be framed in a baguette, with a passe-partout and under glass. Since pastel cannot be fixed with varnish, the paint layer must be protected from dust and other external influences.
