"It is impossible to force dawn or spring come earlier. Do you know the feeling of waiting for something to come as soon as possible? You really want to, but can't affect it. And you are waiting for the first bird to sing in the morning. You are waiting the desired thing to become even closer to you.
You are trying to find words to calm your soul, but nothing helps. Only when you see the first sign of hope, you will find the balance.
It might be the first leaf you've seen. Or the first rays of the sun. Or it might be the desired "love you" or the long-awaited "I'm sorry"."
The picture is called "The expectation". She's one of those pictures that doesn't show the feelings she's talking about. For me, this picture symbolizes a painful wait and its end, when an unpleasant period in life is about to come to an end. And although you already know this, you are still in this unpleasant period and wait for it to end. Because you cannot influence it. Someone thinks that this is about spring, but someone about how the harsh and cruel winter is coming to an end. For me, this picture is about separation from my home.
