Petrodvorets, also known as Peterhof, is a breathtaking former imperial estate situated 30 km away from St. Petersburg. The painting on this box depicts the captivating Grand Cascade fountain and the majestic figure of Samson tearing the jaws of a lion. The miniature is beautifully colored and adorned with gold details, while the lid is framed with golden dots and the sides of the box are embellished with matching ornamental patterns.
