Ribbed Hat Knitting Pattern 3 sizes Knit Slouchy Beanie with Small Cable Stitches

The Wintery Hat is worked bottom up in 2×2 ribbing (k2, p2) with a small cable stitch pattern. It`s a slouchy shaped beanie for autumn or winter outfits.

NOTES:

• The hat is seamless and worked in the round.
• The pattern includes 3 sizes.
• Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced-beginner.

SIZES (S-M-L):

1) S – small size, head circumference 20.5-21’’ (52-54 cm).

2) M – middle size, head circumference 22-23’’ (56-58 cm).

3) L – large size, head circumference 23.65-24.5’’ (60-62 cm).

The height of the hat is 9-9.75-10.63’’ (23-25-27 cm) after blocking.

YARN:

• 2 skeins Merino Uno by Lana Grossa, 100% Merino, 137 yds /1.76 oz (125 m/50 gr) or Super Soft by Lana Gatto, DK, 100% Merino, 137 yds /1.76 oz (125 m/50 gr).
• You can use any 11 wpi DK weight yarn. It’s not necessary to use only natural fibre yarn for this project. You can also use blends (wool blends, alpaca blends, etc.).
• Final yardage depends on the chosen size: 165-192-233 yds (150-175-213 m).

NEEDLES: 16’’ (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm), 16’’ (40 cm) US 6 (4 mm) circular needle and needles for small circumference at crown (set of dpns).
