About this item

Very detailed and easy KNITTING PDF PATTERN for creating knitted Santa mouse!

This is not circular knitting, the toy is knitted on 4 knitting needles.

***THIS IS KNIT PATTERN ONLY - NOT A FINISHED TOY***

The file contains 36 pages, 82 pictures
Level: for beginners. Basic skills of knitting are needed.
Only ears are crocheted.
When finished, the mouse is roughly 8-9 cm (3.15-4 inches) tall if you take the same yarn.

You need for work:

1) Yarn. I use the yarn Alize Angora gold (light grey) + a thread of kid mohair. I use a kid mohair Alize, but you can use any you have.
Sweater and hat - Gazzal baby wool (red). Thread for decoration hat - Alize Softie (white).
Belt buckle - Gazzal baby wool (yellow).
Belt - Gazzal baby wool (black).
Nose - Alize brilliant (black).

The metric area of you yarn can be varied in a range from 170 to 225 m in 50 g. If a thread is
thin, you can mix and knit with two threads. You can knit a hat and a jacket with any yarn.

2) Double pointed needles 4 pcs 1,5 mm
3) Stuffing. Synthetic fluff or hollofayber.
4) White chenille wire for a frame of the legs. (if you have no wire, you can make the legs
without frame)
5) Eyes-beads or eyes with stalks 3 mm (I have the second one)
6) Transparent moment glue or a glue for a fabric. (if you sew the eyes, than you will not need
a glue)
7) A device which help to insert a thread in a needle.
8) A sewing needle.
9) A piece of black thread.
10) Pins, 2 pcs.
11) The hook 1,5 mm (first we will crochet the ears, and the second it will be useful for us to
make easier the process of making the decreases)
12) Oil pastel for tinting of a toy
13) A thin brush.
14) A rough brush to comb the yarn. I use a brush for the animals with the metal teeth. It is sold in any pet-shop. (This step is on your discretion, because if you knit a mouse with a smooth yarn, then do not comb it)
15) Neylon thread for whiskers
16) A piece of white thread to decorate the eyes.
17) A ready pompon.
