Bought as gift for someone with poor night vision, and it works great for that. The darker shade is not effective if you’re driving into the sun, but that is worst case. He seemed pleased with the product

this is a great produce but as I have found on previous purchases the instructions are inadequate or none at all.

This is as exactly as I expected it to be and exactly as pictured. This easily clips onto my visor & pulls down to just the right place. Totally blocks sun glare, even at that time of day when the glare is really bad. Night one works great for oncoming headlight glare too.
I like it so far, specially when i driving night time I don't have any more problems with the highlights, no more burning eyes. Day time driving is good enough to protect from the sun, but maybe little more darker color what I like. My wife likes it more than me.
This anti-glare visor is came to rescue in my commute. There are times where sun is so bright and difficult to drive but this helps to reduce it. I was using yellow glasses while driving in night, since I put this in my car I didn't feel any need to use it.
