DECORATIVE PLATE "USSR - THE HOMELAND OF SATELLITES" Original!!
The plaque was issued in honor of the launch of the first satellite of the Earth that opened the space age in the history of mankind.
Which took place on October 4, 1957, at 19:28 and was launched from the 5th research site of the USSR Ministry of Defense "Tyura-Tam".
Diameter 18 cm, aluminum, late 1950s
Soviet. Good condition. There are slight scratches.
Lettering: USSR - homeland sputnik 4-10-1957
Condition in the image. There are small scratches.
