These mats work out great in my guinea pig cage. They don't catch hay as badly as fleece liners and they catch pee great. Easy to wash and dry.

We use these underneath potty pads which leak. I have found all potty pads leak, they are not waterproof. Do not wash over 194 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent damaging them. Haven’t washed it yet but great so far no more leaks on our wood floors.

I bought these pads for my dog who recently lost his ability to walk due to a back condition. He has since recovered some, but we still use the pads for his resting area. i like that they’re stiffer than a blanket and stay in place easier. I haven’t had to wash one yet, so I cannot comment on that. My dog is a chewer and hasn’t attempted to chew on these pads. Overall I really like these and I am happy with my purchase.
