Apostolic Piety: On Piety and Christian Life according to the "Decrees of the Holy Apostles"
The "Decrees of the Holy Apostles" is an ancient monument of Christian writing, which Orthodox Tradition ascribes to the very founders of the first Local Churches — the twelve disciples of Christ. Despite several revisions that they underwent from the I to the IV century, they retain the true apostolic spirit. The book "Apostolic Piety" publishes excerpts from the "Decrees of the Holy Apostles" on piety and Christian life. And although the "Resolutions" in their content are primarily instructions to the bishops of the young Christian Church, however, there are a lot of instructions to the people of God — the laity.
