This Blank Runes set is made from Birch. The birch represents renewal, rebirth and a new beginning, as it is the first tree after Winter to open its leaves. 

Rune blanks are made entirely by hand. They are cut from solid wood, then carefully sanded by hand with sandpaper to be even and smooth. Grinding machines are not used for grinding.
