Choose from a brimmed bonnet (perfect for keeping the sun out of your little one's face!) or a classic baby bonnet (without a brim).

If you like the vintage look of bonnets/caps/sun hats, this one is easy to sew up and you can choose from 7 different sizes:

0-3mos (head circumference 15" (38cm),
3-6mos (head circumference 16.5" (42cm),
6-12mos (head circumference 17" (43cm),
12-18mos (head circumference 19" (48cm)
18-24mos (head circumference 19.5" (50cm)
2T (head circumference 20" (51cm)
3T (head circumference 20.75" (52cm)

🖤Materials: you will need one yard/meter of fabric in total (you may use two different fabrics if you wish, one for the lining and one for the outer shell. 1/2 yard/meter of each. , you could make this bonnet reversible). The pattern is written for woven fabric. You may use linen, silk, seersucker, cotton, or any appropriate breathable fabric.

2) The PIXIE BONNET

This pixie-style baby bonnet is so cute with a sweet and subtle pointed edge.

If you like the vintage and whimsical look of bonnets, you'll love this sweet bandit bonnet.

The pattern comes with the option of 5 different sizes:

newborn (head circumference 12.5"-14" / 31.7cm - 35cm)
0-3mos (head circumference 14"-16" / 35cm - 40.6cm)
3-6mos (head circumference 16"-17" / 40cm - 43.2cm)
6-12mos (head circumference 17"-18.5" / 43cm - 47cm)
1Y-2Y (head circumference 18.5-19.5" / 47cm - 49.5cm)

🖤Materials: a half yard of double brushed jersey spandex fabric (it takes very little of this yardage, but you will need about 49"+/- (125cm) continuous length to cut the strings. Alternatively, you could piece together the straps from a shorter length of fabric)
