Knitting method: there are two patterns: knitting “in the round” on DPNS and knitting “back and forth” using straight knitting needles
Knitting method for the headband and the dress: the headband/dress are knitted on the straight knitting needles

The pictured sample toy was made from:
The light beige bunny was made of Drops Wish (50% Alpaca, 33 Cotton, 17% Wool; 50g [1.8 oz] = 70 m [77 yds]) in light beige (on 4 mm [US 6] needles);
The light gray bunny was made of Drops Snow (100% wool; 50g [1.8 oz] = 50 m [55 yds]) in light grey
(on 4 mm [US 6] needles);
SMC Schachenmayr Furiosa (35% Mohair, 35% Virgin Wool, 30% Polyamide; 50g [1.8 oz] = 40 m [44 yds]) in beige for the textured toy’s body (on 2.5 mm [US 1.5] needles);
Drops Kid Silk (75% Mohair, 25% Silk; 25g [0.9 oz] = 210 m [229 yds]) in off white for the inside of the ears (with two strand of yarn held together on 3 mm [US 2.5] needles);
A good equivalent for textured yarn is Rico Fashion Fine Fur Super Chunky (42% lana de alpaca, 36% poliamida, 22% mohair; 50g [1.8 oz] = 45 m [49 yds]) in gray for the toy’s body (on 2.5 mm [US 1.5] needles).
