The Bible tells us that God promises to make available whatever we need to heal ourselves. For example, a portion of Ezekiel is interpreted to tell us that God promises to provide "trees--not merely one tree of life as in Paradise but many: to supply immortal food and medicine to the people of God . . ." Several scholars and researchers believe that one of the foremost of those holy plants
is the oleander, known in Biblical times as "the desert rose". Perhaps not coincidentally, the "rose" was one of the most powerful symbols of early religion, predating even the Bible, and it continues to be a symbol of divinity and healing to many to this very day.
