About this item

CARB CLEANER HG3201 / 312 g HI-GEAR

The aerosol formulation effectively and without disassembly restores the characteristics of the carburetor, avoiding costly repairs to the power system.

During the operation of the car, a gradual contamination of the carburetor occurs. This leads to difficulty starting and a drop in engine power, deterioration of acceleration dynamics, and excessive consumption of gasoline. The use of an aerosol carburetor cleaner removes carbon deposits, soot and dirt to effectively restore the carburetor to factory performance. The cleaning zone includes the air and throttle valves, diffuser, carburetor body, air jets, idle valve, throttle control levers, as well as intake valves and piston crowns.

Regular use of an aerosol carburetor cleaner makes it possible to constantly maintain the carburetor in proper condition for efficient engine operation. It is recommended to carry out preventive treatment every 5000 - 7000 km of run. In the case of constant use of low-quality gasoline, the carburetor should be cleaned more often, and also immediately when the symptoms listed above appear.

APPLICATION:

With the ignition off, remove the engine air filter housing. Insert the tube into the spray head of the can.
Treat the outer surfaces of the carburetor and the throttle levers with a cleaner.
Start the engine. While operating the throttle actuator lever by hand, increase the crankshaft speed to 1500 - 2500 rpm, then direct the cleaner jet to all internal carburetor parts accessible for processing. Stop applying the compound when the engine starts to stall, resume cleaning after equalizing the speed. After several cleaning cycles, start injecting the compound continuously until the engine stops completely.
Wait 2 - 3 minutes. Start the engine. Starting may be difficult due to burning deposits, and there may be a temporary increase in exhaust smoke. Repeat cleaning from step 3 until visible dirt is removed from the internal parts of the carburetor.
To clean the idle system, it is recommended to unscrew the solenoid valve of the forced idle economizer (EPXH) and inject the composition into the valve seat, then install the part in place. Adjust idle speed according to manufacturer's recommendations.

NOTE: Carburetor cleaner is also effective for cleaning and restoring other engine parts, such as the PCV valve in the crankcase ventilation system.
