Rare Seeds Monastery Cucumber.
Seeds of cucumber Monastyrsky. An early-ripening bee-pollinated variety. Recommended for growing in the open ground and spring greenhouses. Fruits on day 40-45. The plant is medium braided. The fruit is cylindrical, 10-13 cm long, weighing 60-75 g. The surface is tuberose, with distinct strips up to half the length. Resistant to diseases. Used fresh, for preserving and pickling.
Agronomy.
The soil for cucumber should be light, and should contain a sufficient amount of organic fertilizers. The culture is grown either by direct planting in the ground, or by growing through seedlings. In the second method, the seeds are best grown in pots, embedded at a depth of 1.5-2 cm and grow at a temperature of about 25 ° C. Transplanted seedlings in the ground when the soil warms up to more than ten degrees, and night temperatures will not fall below zero. When planting cucumber seeds in the ground, they are planted in furrows, about 5-6 cm. The depth of the ground is 2-3 cm, for the first time it makes sense to cover the crops with a film. You should carry out up to three feedings during the growing season, this will give a higher yield.
