Easy Knitted Pumpkin Knitting Patterns

Introducing the Quick Knit Pumpkins Pattern by Claire Fairall Designs! Create a beautiful collection of decorative pumpkins for Halloween, Autumn, or Harvest Festival in no time. Each pumpkin is knitted flat and seamed, and the shaping is easily added after sewing up and stuffing.

You have the option to make the stalks by knitting flat and seaming or working an I-cord—both methods are included in the instructions. This pattern is designed for DK (worsted weight) yarn, but feel free to use other yarns to create your personalized pumpkin collection. For alternate yarns, use the manufacturer’s recommended needle size.

The pumpkin sizes range from small (diameter 6cm/2.25″ x height 4cm/1.5″) to medium (diameter 8cm/3″ x height 5cm/2″) and large (diameter 10cm/4″ x height 6cm/2.5″).

Recommended yarns are Stylecraft Special Knit DK or Paint Box Yarns Simply DK. For each size, you will need DK/worsted weight yarn: 15g/45m/48yds for large, 8g/24m/26yds for medium, and 4g/12m/13yds for small pumpkins.

Additionally, you’ll need toy stuffing and a large eye needle for sewing up your pumpkins.
