1.Is this brush good to scape the gook out of the kitchen drain?

Answer:It it is pretty stiff and flexible so I think it would grab some of the gunk in the drain.

I mainly have used in the bathroom shower to get hair out of the drain. Hair sticks well to firm bristles.

2.When you say it cleans sink drains "with" removing stopper, did you mean you have to remove the stopper or did you mean"without" removing the stopper?

Answer:You must remove the stopper. We purchased this to use in a manufactured home. Plumbing is different in that the size holes in the drain basket were too small to push the end of the brush through it. I am sure it would work in standard plumbed homes.

3.Does this work well to clean the sink overflow?

Answer:I tried it on the overflow, works well

4.Can the brush be bent to about a 45 degree angle?

Answer:Yes, it can bent to accommodate angles
