Hand embroidery pattern, Satin stitch embroidery pattern, Bird embroidery pattern, Russia hand embroidery design
This satin stitch embroidery pattern is based on traditional Russian painting (Permogorsk painting).
One of the main images in this slavic painting was the Sirin bird with a woman’s face. This is a bird of happiness, a bird-amulet, guarded the rejuvenating apples in the Garden of Eden. This bird, placed in a circle, is an excellent talisman and good luck wish.
This listing is a beginner friendly hand embroidery pattern (satin stitch).

The diameter of the picture is 18 cm / 7 inches.
