Handmade ceramic bowl was formed on pottery wheel and painted in the traditional Kosiv pottery Ceramics style, which has been used by Ukrainians of the Carpathians for several centuries. Kosiv ceramics are one of the types of traditional Ukrainian pottery.
This hand painted Ceramic bowl was made of red clay, covered with a thin layer of white clay, on which an ornament or pattern is applied, then decorated with colored glazes. According to the Kosiv tradition, ceramics are painted in three colors - yellow, green, brown, associated with the perception of nature - sun, mountains, earth.
This handmade ceramic bowl has a folk art look with rich glazes in a limited colour palette.
