The USSR Soviet Russian 589 microprocessor series represents copies of Intel 3002 bit slice processor (2-bit) and it's family 3000 of support circuits.
This LSI is designed to control the order of selection of microinstructions from ROM and is a single-chip device addressing 512 memory cells.
Expansion of the volume of ROM can be carried out in pages of 512 words by connecting an external address register, forcibly set from ROM.
