Oil painting "Peonies"

This work of art is a one-of-a-kind summer colorful painting.

I paint with oil on art cardboard, using mainly a palette knife, picturesque details and pleasant colors.

Brushes and palette knives give my art a unique combination of contrast, fluidity, depth, texture and impact. The amazing thick texture obtained with a knife reflects light better than with a conventional brush application, and creates a wonderful feeling of movement with subtle highlights.
