Item description from the seller

This genuinely definite copy is a generation of the real recording prop worked by Weta Workshop of New Zealand and utilized in the film, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY. Joined Cutlery, an industry pioneer in fine film propagations, has fastidiously reproduced the prop utilizing simply the best grade materials and craftsmanship. Close meticulousness was the main concern. The sharp edge of Orcrist includes a bent leaf shape on one side, and a straight edge on the other, a fitting plan for a sharp edge intended to sever Orcs and Goblins. Embellishing the knob is a token of the heraldry of Ecthelion of the Fountain. The grip is formed from the tooth of a mythical serpent. It is obscure on the off chance that the tooth was procured before the fifth skirmish of the First Age, or added to the sword with the engraving in the centuries after the Fall of Gondolin, no doubt by the Dwarves of the North.

inscriptions on the sword in Elven runes: On the watchman is the name Orcrist "Troll knife"
Sharp edge: Stainless steel with scratched runic engraving: "The snake's tooth"
Handle: Solid metal parts, reenacted pearl stones, acrylic gum grasp cast
Incorporates wooden divider show and declaration of the genuineness
38 3/4" long; 25 7/8" cutting edge
Orcrist, the sword of Thorin Oakenshield, is a legendary weapon from J.R.R. Tolkien's novel "The Hobbit." Here's a description:

Orcrist is a blade crafted by the Elven smiths of Gondolin in the First Age. It is a magnificent weapon, with a long, straight blade, keen edge, and beautiful craftsmanship. The hilt is adorned with intricate designs and the pommel is shaped like an eagle's head, symbolizing the connection between the sword and the noble lineage of Thorin, who is of the line of Durin, the great Dwarven king.

The blade is known for its ability to glow with a faint blue light when Orcs or Goblins are nearby, a trait shared with its sister blade, Glamdring, which belongs to Gandalf. This feature makes it particularly effective against the enemies of the Free Peoples.

Thorin Oakenshield retrieves Orcrist from the troll hoard in "The Hobbit," where it had been taken by Tom, Bert, and William, three trolls who had plundered it from Gondolin's ruins. Thorin wields Orcrist throughout the quest to reclaim Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, from the dragon Smaug, and it serves him well in his battles against the forces of evil.
