Medal in an original box with the native booklet. In the booklet in the Japanese and English languages it is written:

Medal in commemoration of the games of the XVIII Olympiad. Copper medal designed by Yusaku Kamekura.

Issued by the Tokyo Olympic Fund Raising Association.

Diameter of a medal is 30 mm, the weight - 15.9 grams.

The size of a box is 82 x 67 x 13 mm.

The official symbol of the Olympic Games became the main element in registration of Games. In June, 1960 after long discussions of numerous projects and offers on this occasion the Organizing committee has approved the sketch of the artist Yusaku Kamekura – the circle which is symbolically representing the sun under him five bound Olympic rings.

It was possible to see this symbol everywhere – on posters of Games, on official and souvenir badges of the Olympic Games.
