Peter Diamon Toledo Salamanca Hand Forged Highlander Sword with Scabbard
Quantity
A replica prop from the 1986 fantasy film Highlander, which starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, and Clancy Brown.
After the car park battle, which was choreographed by renowned swordsman Bob Anderson, immortal Iman Fasil (played onscreen by stunt coordinator Peter Diamond) is beheaded by Connor MacLeod (played onscreen by Christopher Lambert). Afterward, forensic pathologist Brenda Wyatt (Roxanne Hart) determines that the sword is a rare Toledo Salamanca, and she subsequently sees it at the police station.
The specially manufactured rapier-style sword is made of stainless steel and has a cast metal pommel with a detailed guard and a number of faux jewels. The imitation ivory grip is made of plastic, and above it is ricassoed in green velvet. The close-up view of the sword on the car's bonnet during the combat may be definitively screen matched to the weapon.
The weapon, which is 43" long and in excellent condition despite some wear from use in the movies and the absence of some of the fake gems on the pommel, measures about 43".
