They have witnessed the greatest geological events, observed the birth of life and its development, they helped primitive people in their struggle for existence, they are now participating with us now in the improvement of habitats and they constitute perhaps the greatest part of the works of art of human civilisation. Architecture, sculpture, mosaics... We bow before ancient statues and Egyptian pyramids, you marvel at the patterns on the polished surface of stone, trying to imagine what titanic forces of nature have created such beauty. And yet we know that this beauty was discovered by man. Only man can expose the inner perfection of stone. Only man can show it to another man.

This shop is the attempt to show stones from their exposed side. Stones have been transformed into objects in the service of man and in doing so highlight their nature-altering qualities. Their connection to the planet, to the universe, to human work and art. We strive to find and create interesting specimens so we started this project and named it Amatista Casa. Amethyst House. Amethyst is mineral with a stunning beauty and nature of origin. The age of the birth of human civilisations since the time of the Sumerians and Ancient Egypt. As a variety of quartz it is one of the hardest and most fire-resistant stones. It has been called the stone of the pure heart. We love this stone. And we will do our best to make the AmatistaCasa project beautiful and have a pure heart.
