Herluf Bidstrup is one of the most famous cartoonists of our time. Bidstrup studied painting at the Copenhagen Academy of Fine Arts, but drew cartoons, political cartoons, travel notes, and was most famous for his comics - funny little stories in pictures. Communist propaganda raised Herluf Bidstrup to incredible heights, because a significant part of his work was really devoted to the struggle of workers for their rights, i.e. fight against world imperialism. Bidstrup is Danish, but his humor knows no national boundaries. These funny, funny, tragicomic stories in pictures are understandable to any person, regardless of age and nationality. The topics are completely different - everyday scenes, cases on the street, in transport, on vacation, various life situations, sometimes brought to the point of absurdity.
