Studies have found that bird’s nest contains an essential peptide substance - Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). This substance exists in most human body fluids, and the content is exceptionally high in breast milk and semen. In the human body, it is mainly synthesized by the submandibular and duodenal glands. It has many essential physiological functions, such as inhibiting gastric acid secretion and protecting the duodenum.
Epidermal growth factor, also known as EGF, is a small peptide composed of 53 amino acid residues. It is a multifunctional growth factor with a substantial mitogenic effect on various tissue cells in vivo and in vitro. EGF binds to specific receptors in response to surface cells, promotes receptor dimerization, and phosphorylates cytoplasmic sites. The activated receptor can bind to at least five proteins with different signal sequences, conduct signal transduction, and regulate protein synthesis at the translation level. In addition, EGF can increase the activity of DNA topoisomerase in cells and promote the expression of some genes related to proliferation, such as MYC and FOS. In terms of beauty: EGF's performance are:
1. Efficient repair
2. Eliminate wrinkles
3. Anti-aging
4. Fade spots
5. Moisturizing and hydrating
Improve skin microcirculation (smooth and clean)
