Carpathian handmade brass keychain.

The keychain consists of a bartka, a Kresanya and a bead with the inscription Karpaty.

Bartka is a sharp, narrow-nosed ax with a small blunt butt (hammer), equipped with a long handle. Common among the inhabitants of the Carpathian Mountains: Ukrainians (Hutsuls, Boyks, Lemks), Gurals, Romanians.

Kresanya is a Hutsul felt hat. Usually black with low sides. It has rather wide and slightly bent upward ridges (edges), which is why it got its name.
