 About the pattern

Easter egg with the bunny inside

Knitting method: the toy (egg and bunny) is worked “in the round” on Double Pointed Needles, only ears are worked flat on 2 DPNS

Instructions for stuffing and finishing the toy

Skill Level – Intermediate

Skills required: Cast on/Cast off/ Knit/ Purl/ Increase/ Decrease

Length of the egg – approx. 11 cm (4.3″)

Length of the bunny – approx. 10 cm with the ears (4″)

 

Materials

Brand “Drops Paris” Uni Color – 100% Cotton, 50g/75m, approx. 35 g for one egg, approx. 5 g for one bunny

Toy stuffing – washable polyester for the bunny (less than 5 g)

Black embroidery thread for eyes

Two beads for the eyes (diameter is approx. 3 mm)

Three beads for the egg (diameter is approx. 15 mm)

 

Equipment

2.75 mm DPNS needles (UK12/US2)

Plastic-headed pins

A tapestry needle with a rounded point (length is approx. 5-7 cm)

A thin needle for sewing the beads (eyes)

1.65 mm-2.0 mm crochet hook (UK4/US7- UK2.5/US4) for buttonhole
