Handmade collectible jewelry box "The Birth of Venus"

The muse for the creation of this beautiful box was the famous painting by Florentine artist Sandro Botticelli "The Birth of Venus". 

In this work you can see: the lid is decorated with a relief image of a beautiful virgin. It is made in such techniques as carving and painting on wood. The surface can shimmer from blue to golden. 

Inside the box is trimmed with velour fabric.

The image is completed by a metal lock-loop in the color of 'antique bronze'.
