A solid metal pommel and antique brass-plated guard are filled with intricately forged patterns in the unique Kingdom of Rohan style. In the words of King Theoden:

Having been born in Gondor in 2980, King Theoden was the seventeenth king of Rohan and had been in power for 40 years when the War of the Ring started. The mind of the character is controlled by Saruman the White, with the help of Grima Wormtongue, when the character meets Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and Gimli for the first time. In the end, he is able to break free from this control and he is able to regain his power over Rohan back. Spurred by the anger over his son’s death, Theoden reinstates his banished nephew and heir, Eomer, and successfully defeats Saruman’s army at the Battle of Helm’s Deep.
