This dessert spoon, hand-carved from willow wood, is ideal for measuring tea, coffee, sugar, salt, spices, or for eating dessert, jam, honey. To make this spoon I used simple hand tools: hacksaw, axe, knives, and gouges. The spoon was carved out and then tinted with charcoal to give the effect of antiquity. To protect against moisture, the spoon is oiled several times with linseed oil and a special compound of linseed oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. Therefore, this spoon is durable and easy to clean and maintain and can be used daily.
