The journal refill is sewn by hand. I stain the pages by hand with coffee and then iron them for alignment. The headband on the tops of the spine is hand sewn too. It not only gives beauty and accuracy to the block of paper but also firmly binds it.
Available thread colors: brown, black, dark green, orange, burgundy. If you need a special color - just send me a convo.
As a result of staining, there may be spots and stains on the paper. That certainly gives it a more ancient look. Hand coffee staining allows for various shades of paper.
