Spotted Hyena Granny Square Crochet Pattern

This spotted hyena granny square is approximately 20 cm x 20 cm (8.15" x 8.15"), and can be used as a component for crocheted items such as a blanket or cushion cover. The square can be used repeatedly, or with others. This is the ninth of my 'South African animal' granny squares, so keep your eyes open for more designs coming soon ;-)

It can also be framed framed and hung on a wall, as home décor - ideal in a nursery, or a child's bedroom.

The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in five colours (pepper, lime green, dark brown, very dark brown, and camel), and a 4.00 mm crochet hook is used throughout. In total, the approximate yardage is 58 m (64 yds).

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
