About this item

Deep blue tangezite (shaitanite) sphere with small metal stand. Blue stone ball with a gray scaly pattern.

Shaitanite is an analogue of dragon glass from Kazakhstan, found after a fire at the Tengiz oil field. The properties and appearance of shaitanite and tengezite are identical, but the origin of the first remains a mystery.

This rare and beautiful mineral is most likely of man-made origin, although there are no industrial enterprises near its small deposits in a village in the Urals.

Diameter 2 2/3" (68 mm)

Origin: Sverdlovsk Region, Russia

DELIVERY
