Turtleneck Icelandic women's sweater with thistle patterned round yoke is hand knitted from baby alpaca and merino wool in Scandinavian jacquard knitting technique with two or more colors that make it extra warm because of the double weave of thread. The unique pattern for it was designed by Hanne Rimmen. This pullover is cozy, soft, very warm, comfortable and is knitted by me personally, from the highest quality yarn, without knots and seams as I knit by hand on circular needles. These sweaters look good on people of all ages, sizes and body types. The classic Icelandic sweater Lopapeysa is unmatched for warmth . A well made wool sweater will last a lifetime! CARE: Wash preferably by hand with mild detergent, dry flat in the shade. Also machine washable, gentle cycle, cold water, no centrifuge, no tumble dry.
