ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Gaiduk Viktor Kirillovich

Born on 4 December 1926 (Zaporizhzhia). Painter. Member/exhibitor of Union of Artists of Ukraine (1963). Art education: Studio of the Zaporizhzhia Association of Artists (1951-57). Educators – H. Kolosovskyi, V. Stupin. Creatively active in Zaporizhzhia. Exhibition activity since 1953. Participant: all-Ukrainian art exhibitions since 1963; abroad art exhibitions since 1999; solo art exhibitions since 1965. He worked in the easel painting industry. Author of numerous landscapes and still life. The brother of the famous Ukrainian artist Zinaida Gaiduk (1937-12). Works by V.K. Gaiduk are represented in the Zaporizhzhia Regional Art Museum, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Died on 12 May 1992 (Zaporizhzhia).
