Of course! The high quality plans we sell are architectural and have been created by professional architects and have all the dimensions needed to build your cabin

WILL YOUR PLANS MEET MY LOCAL BUILDING CODES?

Accepted Answer

Every city and municipality has different standards and codes they want building plans to follow. Since we have no way of knowing every location's codes. That may or may not be good enough for your local area. Some locations may require that the plans be modified to meet their local codes.  If you aren't sure about your local building codes, contact your local municipality and they will provide you with a list of things needed for permit approval.

DO YOUR PLANS ICLUDE AN ARCHITECTURAL STAMP?

Plans are for information purposes only. No engineering or architectural stamps are included. You should consult with a qualified licensed builder, contractor or architect who is familiar with your local building codes before beginning any construction project.

DO YOUR PLANS INCLUDE MECHANICAL/PLUMBING PLANS?

Since our cabin plans are designed to meet international building codes and not any particular state or county codes, extensive HVAC, and plumbing is not shown on the blueprints.

DO YOU GIVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BUILD THE HOUSE?

Our plans are designed for use by individuals or companies with prior construction knowledge. They are not a how to guide for building houses. If you are not an experienced home builder, please work with a local builder when using our plans.

WHAT DO THE PROJECT CABIN PLANS INCLUDE?

Cover Sheet: Table of Contents, General Notes, Symbol Legend, License and Agreement;  Floor Plan(s): detailed plans, drawn to 1/4" scale for each level showing room dimensions, wall partitions, windows, etc. Shows precise dimensions for all spaces;  Exterior Elevations: exterior Elevations drawn at 1/4" = 1’-0” noting plate heights, roof overhangs, material/surface notes, roof pitches, floor to floor dimensions and any other detail we feel is necessary to explain the construction;  Cross Sections:  show foundation, frame, ceiling height with exact dimensions;  Roof Plan: slope directions are indicated as well as ridges and valleys;  Roof Framing Plan: shows dimensions of the entire structure of the roof, and this includes the shape and size;  Foundation Plan: detailed plans drawn to 1/4" scale, this page shows all necessary notations and dimensions including support columns, walls and excavated and unexcavated areas.  Floor framing plan:  Electrical Plan: shows the locations of lights, receptacles, switches, etc and includes an electrical symbols legend;  Detail Drawings: details of the home showing how the building is intended to be erected;  Window and Door schedules: for each level;  Stair & Fireplace Details: (if applicable);  Material List: full specification needed materials with quantity and size.

CAN I RESELL A CABIN PLANS ONCE I'VE PURCHASED IT?

All designs are copyright and original ©SmallCabinZone by Vitaliria LLP. This design is for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed. When you purchase a plan from ©SmallCabinZone, you are purchasing a license to build that plan one time. Therefore, you may not sell this plan or give the plan to someone else to build.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICIES?

Due to our sales being delivered as digital downloads, we have no way of determining whether copies were made, therefore we do not offer refunds or returns on any plan sales. Thank you for your understanding.  If you have any question about this policy please feel free to contact us.
