Cape Fox Granny Square Crochet Pattern

This Cape fox granny square is approximately 20 cm x 20 cm (8.15” x 8.15”), and can be used as a component for crocheted items such as a blanket or cushion cover. The square can be used repeatedly, or with others. This is the sixteenth of my ‘South African animal’ granny squares. Keep your eyes open for the final design coming soon ;-)

It can also be framed framed and hung on a wall, as home décor - ideal in a nursery, or a child’s bedroom.

The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in six colours (beige, olive green, dusty pink, white, brown, and very dark brown), and a 4.00 mm crochet hook is used throughout. In total, the approximate yardage is 49 m (54 yds).

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
