About this item

With this crochet capybara pattern, you can make a mini amigurumi toy capybara that can be a good friend to your child and a nice gift for friend.

Please note that the pattern is written in English (US terms).
It consists of 10 pages and contains a crochet pattern, many step-by-step pictures and same video for creating a mini toy capybara.

SKILL LEVEL: easy ⭐️

The pattern does not include the basic crochet tutorial, so you need to have crochet knowledge: how to make chain, slip stitch, single crochet, BLO, FLO, increasing, decrease.

SIZE:
If you use the materials and tools recommended in the pattern, your finished product will be approximately 2 1⁄2 inch/6 cm wide and 3 inch/7.5 cm tall. In this case, you will need:

  • Yarn (light brown color) – I crocheted with one strand of 100% acrylic yarn "Diva" by Alize and used less than 12g of yarn in total.
    Weight: Super Fine (1) = Fingering (360m/100g=383yds/3.52Oz).
  • Crochet hook – I used Clover 1.50 mm.
  • Stuffing.
  • Black embroidery thread – I used DMC 310.
  • Black pencil or chalk pastel (or paint) for toning.
  • Sewing needle.
  • Pins.

You can use any yarn and suitable hook size, but remember that the finished toy might differ in the measures mentioned above.
